The album was made a while ago. It consists of soundtracks of imaginary movies. Each soundtrack is in a different musical style and features a different language. Some of the languages are real and some are products of imagination, just like the movies themselves.
In this imagined universe all these films star Mira in different roles. Some of the songs are autobiographical (like Children's Song), some are pure play & fantasy (17 Names of Marduk) and some even have "a message" (Not Your Way).
The initial album included a booklet with texts and images relating to the imagined movies, as well as interactive videos accompanying each song. That part of the project needs to be reinvented in the new technological environment. It's a work in progress…
This project was a labour of love, a collaboration with our wonderful, super gifted friends Dejan Trickovic and Dusan Kojic - Koya, the legendary leader of the iconic Yugoslav band "The Discipline of the Spine". The interactive video was imagined and created by our dearest friend, the late Branko Vukojevic.
We had a lot of fun playing with the ideas and the sounds. I hope you will too.
